Today, I revisit The Sin Circus, with a guest post from one of the authors, Sabrina Garie, and without further ado, Welcome, Sabrina.
Since childhood, I've loved the
circus because, let's face it, it is naughty. Sitting on a
bleacher in a dark tent, I indulged in cotton candy and cracker jacks, gawked
at barely-there spangled outfits that shone in the dark and left nothing to the
imagination, and shook with fear when the tight rope walker missed a step,
purposefully ramping up our anticipation for the final, death-defying, thrill. The
circus promised, and delivered, a sensual, action-packed decadent escape from
life, if only for a few hours.
Apart from the experience itself,
the circus lives in our consciousness as something on the edge of town,
spreading vibrant blues and reds to spice up the dull browns and beiges of our
daily routines. The circus would swoop into town, sets up camp, titillate our
senses and then tear at all down, leaving us salivating for more. Bad boys and
naughty girls were said to have run away to the circus, to find freedom from
the constricting rules of everyday life; to embrace the thrill of risk; to
be exposed in front of an audience. To fly free. Temptation,
risk and down-right sexy define the allure of the circus.
Given its place as a splash of color
and sensuality in the drab ordinariness of our world, the circus easily morphs
into a place where our every sexual fantasy is there for the taking—or the
reading in the case of The Sin Circus.
In it we experience, the passions—on stage and off—of circus performers and
their audience.
In my story, Sweet and Sticky, the
action takes place in bleachers. Because the circus releases the dreams in all
of us. Come join us.
Everyone remembers their first trip to the circus--the home of fantasy and dreams. Where the idea that anything is possible meets a creative reality of alluring tricks and amazing acts of defiance. The big top is known for inspiring lust, awe, and happy memories, and now you'll see it like never before.
Some of today's hottest romance authors combine the decadent memories of the center ring with all the flavors in erotic fiction in The Sin Circus. Whether it's with a dominating Ringmaster, a lion tamer's bratty kittens, or a dark Harlequin King, this show is sure to shock the audience with its dazzling dares and tantalizing tales.
